When I was a child my grandfather had a Cadalliac, a full size one not one of the compact ones they sell today, from his rear view dangled half of dozen of those little vanilla car freshener trees. In the morning he could grab his keys and say, 'Let's take a ride.' We would drive past the miles of tobacco fields with all four windows rolled all the way down and the wind would dance throughout the car, that dance smelled, and that smell was a mixture of Tobacco and Vanilla.
